The Lions Club, formally known as Lions Clubs International, is a global non-profit service organization founded in 1917 by Melvin Jones and headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois.

With over 1.4 million members and 46,000 clubs worldwide, the organization focuses on humanitarian service in areas like fighting blindness, feeding the hungry, aiding seniors and the disabled, and caring for the environment.

Their motto, "We Serve," reflects their commitment to improving health, strengthening communities, and supporting those in need through local and international projects.
